We’re looking for someone to take on responsibility for all the day-to-day admin activities of the Powder Processing department, who will also play vital and active part in new business and maximising sales revenue.

Main responsibilities
• Deal with customer enquiries, raise quotations and sales orders.
• Expand the customer base by identifying potential new customers and targeting inactive accounts.
• Share information with other departments.
• Ensure target logs are reviewed and followed up by team members.
• Take departmental meeting minutes and ensure actions are carried out.
• Perform research and data analysis to provide the GM and other team members with relevant information for their various activities.
• Monitor and report on departmental activity and progress against targets.
• Review and revise departmental operating processes and procedures.
• Ensure that the information in the CRM system is comprehensive, up to date and accurate.
Key skills/qualities
• Highly literate and numerate, able to write great emails and present basic information effectively in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Sound knowledge of Sales administration processes.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Teams.
• Can analyse a variety of basic data, including numerical data, effectively.
• Able to carry out thorough research and present findings in suitable formats, eg simple tables, charts and graphs.
• Professional and confident on the phone.
• At least two years’ experience in Sales administration role/s.
• Process-oriented, logical, pays great attention to detail.
• First rate time management and organisational skills.
• Able to work on own initiative and manage own time productively.
• A flexible and versatile team player.
• An ideas person who thinks strategically and looks for ways to Make it better.
• Good interpersonal skills; able to build strong working relationships.
• Hours are 9 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.
• 23 days’ holiday plus public holidays.
